Turtles have been one of my most common sightings the Red River Gorge, Kentucky. They are fascinating looking reptiles- each with unique patterning on their shells. These earrings mimic those abstract markings with hand cut details in sterling silver and a gold backing.

All items are made by hand with either recycled or ethically sourced metals in my Cincinnati studio. Sterling silver and brass will develop a lovely patina over time creating a unique character, or can they be polished back to their original shine with a Sunshine Polishing Cloth.
